Vanessa Van Petten specializes in social and emotional intelligence research and development. The focus of her company is to research youth behavior and help adults keep up with young adults. She wrote her first book when she was just 16 and is now working on a book for Penguin on how parents can use emotional intelligence to better understand their children. Her company not only reaches out to families, but also works with brands and individuals to help them use social and emotional intelligence to improve website traffic, sales and branding. How are you using Google+ as an entrepreneur? Give one tip.

Google plus is a great way to sell yourself to others as well as search engines. Make sure to fill your profile, tagline and description full of relevant keywords. For example, think of what you want people to search for to get to you--"Inspirational Speaker" or "Best-Selling Author." Use those words in your profile and you can teach Google who you are and who needs to find you.
