Marc Dangeard is an Entrepreneur, Network Weaver and Entrepreneurial Consultant. He’s

the kind of partner every entrepreneur is looking for - an experienced, informed,

success. As someone who has been integral in creating, growing and selling

multiple businesses, he understands the entrepreneurial process.

With degrees in both Engineering and Business Management, Marc leveraged

his knowledge in both fields to start and manage an innovative eCommerce

business in 1995. Oracle saw the potential of his company and hired him

to Project Manage several products, such as iStore and iSupport. His role

expanded to include the Oracle China Development Center where he led

international teams in developing Cloud computing products.

Marc founded the Entrepreneur Commons in 2008. Designed on the European

entrepreneurs in order to provide mutual support. There are chapters across the

world in the US, Europe and Asia.

Today, Marc works with over 30 High Tech small and medium sized businesses

providing management consulting services in the areas of Strategy and Business

Organization. His unique position in both the technology and business realms

allows him to be an alternative thinker, advisor, innovator and sought-after

speaker on the future of Entrepreneurship.

Q&A with Marc Dangeard:

When should a growing company start diverting a percentage of profits to the founders instead of reinvesting every cent back into the business to grow it?

A company is an ecosystem, and there should be something for all stakeholders within this ecosystem. This includes founders, but also employees, stockholders, customers and suppliers. Once the company is sustainable, entrepreneurs should decide whether they want to keep pushing for growth or start distributing the profits back into the ecosystem. It includes them but also the other stockholders.
