Laura Calandrella sees a future where the next generation of women are the go-to catalysts for social and environmental change. Her passion for helping women succeed comes from her personal experience navigating invisible systems, breaking barriers and aligning her life with her work in order to create global change. Laura blends strategy consulting and coaching principles to create a launchpad for her clients to implement world-shifting visions. She uses digital learning platforms, 1:1 intensives and off-site retreats to help her clients turn their work into a calling that addresses some of the most intractable challenges of our time. An advocate for people and their environment, Laura has spent the last decade immersed in the fields of sustainable, organizational and leadership development. She has worked on nearly every continent developing community-based micro-enterprises that addressed social, economic and environmental issues in some of the world's most impoverished places. Through this experience she gained insight into the individual and collective power to envision change and implement it. Throughout her career Laura has been active in the public and non-profit sectors as a facilitator, strategist and coach working with organizations like Conservation International, RARE Conservation, World Wildlife Fund, the US Department of Agriculture and the US Department of the Interior. Her work in social and environmental innovation has been recognized by organizations like the Udall Foundation, Rotary Foundation and the Presidential Management Fellowship. She holds a Masters degree in Development Studies from Victoria University of Wellington and is certified as a Co-Active Professional Coach by the Coaches Training Institute.
