My first startup was in children furniture, (don't ask how I got there.) Simultaneously we started a student media company, which became talk of town winter/spring 2008. We closed the beta, got funding, and re-launched in fall 2008, but got hit by the global crash. I often refer my best decision to be starting my first company, and the second best to close it.
I quickly got involved in 2 projects, Toyrex, a platform for selling used and new toys with the vision of teaching kids commerce, and Podio, which I soon decided to put all my time in.
Now 3 years later, we are +30 dedicated people from 14 countries working from our Copenhagen and San Francisco office. In between we opened the worlds first physical app store, did a 19 city world tour, were awarded best enterprise startup in europe, mentioned by BBC as the frontiers of the Citizen Developers Movement, changed how thousands of companies work and kept trying to scale to follow our vision. 6 months ago we were acquired by Citrix.
I'm an entrepreneur. I just got started. I look forward to meet you. We can change the world together!
