Chris is a serial entrepreneur who has twice been recognized in Inc. Magazine’s “30 Under 30” for co-founding Sentry Centers and evoJets. Unique in contrast to other young entrepreneurs, Chris focuses on capital and human intensive "brick and mortar" businesses where there is long-term opportunity for achieving sustained competitive advantage and market share.
SENTRY CENTERS, 2009-PRESENT
Chris co-founded Sentry Centers with partner Ryan Simonetti in 2009 to capitalize on converging trends in real estate and workplace collaboration by re-purposing commercial office space into full service conference centers. In 2011 Sentry served over 50,000 attendees and 64% of NY's Fortune 500 Companies in two locations totaling over 70,000 sq.ft. of real estate. The Company and its 60 member team are on track to exceed $14mm in revenues in 2012 and expect to more than double capacity in 2013.
In his role at Sentry Centers Chris leads industry discussions on alternative workplace strategies and collaboration and is a board member of The Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (CoreNet), Young Leaders Council and a founding member of The ReThink Forum.
THRIVE OFFICE, 2012-PRESENT
Chris co-founded "thrive office" to create a workplace where select businesses and entrepreneurs office together to support and stimulate one another's success. The Company's first 35,000 sq.ft. location is scheduled to open at 386 Park Avenue South in August 2012.
EVOJETS, 2006-PRESENT
Chris co-founded evoJets in 2006 with partner (and now fiancee) Adriann Wanner to resolve inefficiencies in the private jet charter industry. The Company aggregates, organizes and re-sells the excess capacity of over 4,000 privately owned aircraft to provide worldwide, on-demand jet service. evo's unconventional, no-fixed cost model inspired growth even through the recession and continues to prove successful as private fliers increasingly prefer to pay per trip.
Chris graduated from the Villanova School of Business (2004) and remains actively engaged with the small business community. In 2011 Chris was appointed as a member of NY Senator Kirsten Gillibrand's "Small Business Working Group" and along with the entire Sentry Centers team, is a leading sponsor of Nourishing NYC, a community food program that strives to achieve "nutrition for all".
Outside of work, Chris' passion for traveling in developing economies has taken him to over 30 countries on 5 continents. Chris is a life long student who especially enjoys playing music, cooking and photography.
