One of the top 100 young entrepreneurs in the United States, according to the White House, Andrew Bachman has helped to start several web-based businesses, including Scambook.com and Tatto Media, which revolutionized the online advertising model. Scambook.com allows consumers to post details about scams that they have encountered online. The company connects individuals with attorneys who can help them to recover some of the money lost to scammers. As President of Scambook.com, Mr. Bachman seeks to help address this problem and hopes to reduce the volume of online scams. Sold in early 2011 to Ozura World, Tatto Media operated with a distinctive online advertising model. Unlike competitors who based their pricing models on the number of impressions gleaned by a specific banner ad, Andrew Bachman’s Tatto asked advertisers to pay only if the consumer who clicked on the ad ended up making a purchase, creating a pay-for-performance model. In 2005, Andrew Bachman founded Tatto Media with three classmates whom he met during his time at Babson College. Responsible for business development and strategy, Andrew Bachman helped to grow the company’s revenues to $100 million and established the largest online advertising network in the world. In 2008, the company was among the top 20 networks as ranked by comScore, Inc. Aside from his current efforts at Scambook.com, Mr. Bachman shares his world view through AndrewBachman.tv, which features links to his Twitter feed, Facebook page, and several videos. The site also lists his upcoming events and encourages people to connect through LinkedIn. He invites individuals to contact him through his e-mail account or by texting him on his cell phone. A graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, he works out regularly, gives speeches, and makes generous charitable donations.
