Aaron Schwartz is Founder and CEO at Modify Industries, Inc., which designs interchangeable custom watches known as Modify Watches. He's wanted to be an entrepreneur since he was 10 and opened a bank account with a buddy for their future baseball card store; after $30 in investment, that idea petered out. Before founding Modify with his friend Gary Coover, Aaron started Refill Revolution, a sustainability startup; earned his MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business; worked for Deloitte Consulting in London and New York; and earned his B.A. in History and Hispanic Studies at Columbia University. He loves working on startup ideas and has spent innumerable (happy) hours advising friends and former students on how to grow their ideas. He suggests that every young entrepreneur read the works of Eric Ries (Minimum Viable Product), Steve Blank (Customer Development), Fred Wilson (VC, blogger) and Mark Suster (VC, blogger). He keeps growing as an entrepreneur by reading, networking and listening to any and all advisers.
